I am currently a senior editor at Forbes, where I co-manage the technology team. Previously, I was the deputy editor of BuzzFeed News’s tech and business team, as well as Fast Company‘s technology section.
I edited a package of stories from reporter Emily Baker-White about TikTok’s China problem, which won a 2023 SABEW honorable mention in the investigations category.
In 2021, my project “Black in Tech” aimed to hold Big Tech accountable for the promises made after 2020’s racial justice protests through data journalism and first-person storytelling. Check it out here.
I’m based in Brooklyn, NY, where I spend my free time reading fantasy novels, playing piano, and hanging out in Prospect Park. I’ve also spent time at The Atlantic, The Seattle Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Los Angeles magazine.
