I’m originally from Pasadena, CA, where I grew up with my nose in a book. I attended Stanford, where I majored in English and spent my time outside of the classroom running the Stanford Arts Review and my summers writing for The Seattle Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Los Angeles magazine. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors before joining The Atlantic as an editorial fellow.
I currently write about a wide range of topics for Fast Company‘s Co.Design including but not limited to startups, transportation, interfaces, materials science, AI, urbanism, architecture, graphic design, and space.
