As the deputy editor of Fast Company‘s technology section, I currently oversee a group of writers and freelancers with a focus on how technology is impacting society, culture, and business. My most recent project, “Black in Tech,” aims to hold Big Tech accountable for the promises made after 2020’s racial justice protests through data journalism and first-person storytelling. Check it out here.
Before joining the tech section in 2019, I was a design reporter for FC covering a wide range of topics including but not limited to startups, transportation, interfaces, materials science, AI, urbanism, architecture, graphic design, and space.
I’m based in Brooklyn, NY, where I spend my free time reading fantasy novels, playing piano, and hanging out in Prospect Park. Before joining Fast Company, I spent time at The Atlantic, The Seattle Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Los Angeles magazine.
